About the Company
We're supporting a leading EPC client delivering major offshore engineering and modification projects in Norway. As part of a long-term programme of work, they're looking for an experienced Telecoms Engineer with metering expertise to join their multidisciplinary engineering team.
About the Role
As a Telecom Engineer, you'll support the project through both the global and detailed design phases, ensuring telecommunications systems are designed and delivered in line with project requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering telecom engineering activities throughout the global and detailed design phases.
- Preparing telecom work packages for construction and installation.
- Supporting follow-up and as-built documentation activities.
- Acting as Deputy Telecom Discipline Lead when required.
- Ensuring all deliverables comply with Equinor technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Telecom Engineer.
- Experience delivering telecommunications systems on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
- Knowledge of Equinor technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
- Experience with fibre optic networks, structured cabling and network design.
- Installation experience within telecom systems.
- Experience using Procosys and STID.
- Ex Basic & Exi Basic certification.
- FSE certification.
- Valid Offshore Safety Training (GSK).
- An Associate Degree, vocational qualification, BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline.
- Fluency in Norwegian.
You'll also be organised, proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
