About the Role
We are seeking a Subsea HSE Supervisor to support construction and execution activities on active worksites. Reporting to the HSE Lead, the role is responsible for supervising contractor and subcontractor HSE activities to ensure personnel safety, construction integrity, environmental protection, and compliance with contractual HSE requirements.
The Subsea HSE Supervisor ensures the effective deployment of safety culture on site, maintains a visible HSE presence, and supports the implementation and enforcement of HSE documentation and procedures. The role includes day-to-day supervision of site activities, monitoring HSE performance, supporting risk assessments, and enforcing HSE execution decisions. The position requires the authority to intervene when safety standards or work practices are not met.
About You
You are an experienced HSE professional with a background in construction, subsea, facilities, or yard supervision. You demonstrate exemplary behavior with respect to company ethics, codes of conduct, and H3SE rules and regulations, and you actively promote safety awareness across all levels of the workforce.
You are proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in multicultural environments. You communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors, and you are capable of influencing behaviors to support continuous HSE improvement. You are flexible in your work approach, able to work without close supervision, and a strong team player. You maintain strict confidentiality in relation to documentation and information under your responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with the applicable HSE management system across all worksites. Verify that site personnel hold the required HSE competencies and that training requirements are met. Develop and implement site-level HSE procedures and instructions as required. Monitor contractor compliance with contractual HSE commitments and approved HSE plans. Track HSE performance indicators and follow up on anomalies, incidents, and accidents. Participate in HSE meetings, audits, site visits, and worksite inspections. Support HSE risk assessments, reviews, and the resolution of specific HSE concerns. Provide regular HSE reporting to the HSE Lead. Promote ethical conduct, safety culture, and H3SE policies throughout site activities.
Qualifications & Experience
You have between five and ten years of professional HSE experience, with a minimum of five years in a similar supervisory role. You have experience in facilities and/or yard supervision. You hold an engineering degree or an equivalent qualification. You are fluent in English.
Assignment Details
The role is a resident, on-site contract assignment with a long-term duration, subject to project requirements.
