About the Client
The client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, their modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking to hire a Quality Specialist to support our Development team in Houston, TX.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Execution: Lead and conduct QMS and project-specific audits in strict alignment with API, ISO, and global regulatory standards.

  • End-to-End Audit Management: Oversee the full audit lifecycle, including planning, data gathering, document distribution, and stakeholder communication.

  • Strategic Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and global suppliers to manage logistics, access requirements, and scheduling.

  • Closing the Loop: Formalize audit findings, issue comprehensive reports, and rigorously track/verify corrective actions (CAPA) to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Technical Interpretation: Review and interpret complex engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, Isometrics, and Electrical/Civil plans, to verify on-site compliance.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Quality Management within the Energy Industry (LNG experience is highly preferred).

  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong command of API and ISO registration standards, industry codes, and best practices.

  • Travel Readiness: Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 70% to 90% of the time.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Smartsheet, SharePoint, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Documentation: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.

Preferred Certifications

  • Auditor: API, ASQ, or ISO Lead Auditor certifications.

  • Quality & Project Management: ASQ (CQA, CQE) or PMI (PMP, RMP) certifications.

  • Technical Inspection: API, AWS, or ASME certifications.
