Operation Excellence Coordinator

Job Title: Operation Excellence Coordinator
Location: Paris, France
Client: Operator
Employment Type: Renewable Contract

About You

You have proven experience in Operations Readiness, Operations Excellence, and Operations Management Systems within complex industrial projects. You are confident managing interfaces between company teams and contractors, and you bring strong coordination, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

You are comfortable structuring large volumes of documentation and building robust, usable management systems. Your approach is pragmatic and solution-oriented, with a strong operational focus. You are able to work effectively in transversal, non-hierarchical environments and influence a wide range of stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential.

About the Role

This role sits within the FOPS package of a major project team and is focused on ensuring that O&M Contractor documentation, Company Operations requirements, and the Field Operations Management System are fully aligned, complete, and operationally ready for start-up. The objective is to deliver a robust, auditable, and fit-for-purpose Operations Management System for the Operations phase.

You will act as a transversal coordinator, facilitating integration and alignment across multiple stakeholders. This includes structuring and implementing key interface procedures between internal entities and the O&M contractor, while identifying and mitigating gaps between company operational requirements and contractor systems.

You will support the implementation of the Field Operations Management System, ensuring that all components such as procedures, RACI matrices, KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks are consistent, clearly owned, and operationally effective. A key part of the role involves coordinating and accelerating O&M documentation, including defining and monitoring a comprehensive documentation roadmap, setting priorities, and facilitating multidisciplinary workshops to resolve issues and align expectations.

In addition, you will integrate Company Operations readiness deliverables by developing cross-references between contractor documentation and company requirements, identifying gaps, and ensuring deliverables are clearly defined, assigned, and completed. You will also contribute to the development of digital tools to support FOMS accessibility, including document repositories, dashboards, and governance frameworks.

About the Company

You will be joining a multidisciplinary project team delivering a major offshore energy development. The project involves deep and shallow water discoveries and includes complex technical scopes such as reservoir development, FPSO systems, and subsea production and injection infrastructure.

The team operates with a strong focus on operational excellence, cost and schedule optimisation, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, while maintaining high technical quality and stringent H3SE standards.

What’s on Offer?

This is a long-term assignment running from June 2026 through to the end of 2028, based in Paris La Défense on a residential basis. The role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically complex international project, with frequent travel to global locations including Kuala Lumpur, China, Paramaribo, Monaco, and Pau.

You will gain exposure to large-scale project execution and operations readiness within a highly collaborative, international environment, working across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
