About You
You are a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in inventory and warehouse management. With 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in materials control, you’re confident operating within a fast-paced oilfield or industrial environment. You’re someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. You’re comfortable using SAP or similar inventory systems and have solid communication skills that make you a reliable team player. A current forklift certification is a must, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done on the ground.
About the Role
As the Logistics & Materials Technician, you will play a key role in managing yard and warehouse operations, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and dispatched to support field operations. This position will focus on inventory control, shipping and receiving, documentation, and compliance with safety protocols.
Inventory / Yard Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct monthly cycle counts
- Reconcile stock differences in SAP and support inventory forecasting
- Coordinate with internal teams for new material storage and disposal needs
- Ensure timely and precise materials movement and storage
Shipping & Receiving
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including coordination with logistics providers
- Ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate
- Track materials from the warehouse to multiple field locations
- Communicate proactively with vendors and internal teams about order status
Compliance & Safety
- Uphold company EHS standards and reporting procedures
- Maintain records of JSAs, MSDS sheets, and hazardous material handling
- Enforce PPE usage and safety practices across the facility
Documentation
- Record all inventory transactions including cycle counts, scrapping, and goods receipt
- Maintain transportation and waste manifest documentation
