We're representing a leading energy client delivering complex offshore projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced engineering team working on modification and brownfield projects within a collaborative and technically challenging environment.


About the Role

As an LC Process Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality process engineering solutions across offshore modification projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and quality checking process and utility system designs.
  • Performing sizing and evaluation of process equipment, including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps and separators.
  • Producing and reviewing key process deliverables, including P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, process datasheets, line sizing, line lists and engineering calculations.
  • Preparing for and participating in HAZOPs, design reviews and other process safety studies.
  • Reviewing process simulations where required (simulation experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant and efficient designs.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A BSc or MSc in Process, Chemical or a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Experience delivering engineering work on offshore modification projects, ideally on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Strong knowledge of NORSOK P-002 and relevant Norwegian regulations.
  • Familiarity with API, ISO and ASME standards.
  • Knowledge of NORSOK S-001 and Z-001 is advantageous.
  • Detail design engineering experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with Norwegian considered beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, self-driven and positive approach to work.
