About the Company
Our client is delivering a major offshore energy project and is looking to appoint an experienced Project Installation Planner to support the successful planning and execution of installation activities. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative project team working on a complex engineering programme where effective planning is critical to project success.
About the Role
As the Project Installation Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project installation schedule in close collaboration with the installation and methods teams. Working with key stakeholders across the project, you will ensure installation activities are planned effectively and delivered in line with project milestones and overall programme objectives.
You will proactively monitor both offshore and onshore installation progress, ensuring that project plans remain accurate, up to date and aligned with contractor schedules. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining the project's planning framework, identifying trends, monitoring critical path activities and analysing schedule performance to support informed decision-making.
Working closely with senior management, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, you will manage planning interfaces, communicate progress updates and develop practical schedule recovery strategies where required to maintain key project milestones.
About You
You are an experienced Project Planner with a background in offshore, energy, engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects. You have a strong understanding of project scheduling principles and are confident managing complex installation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and contractors.
You are analytical and proactive, with the ability to identify risks, assess schedule performance and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships across project teams, while your attention to detail ensures accurate planning and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
