About the Role
The Instrumentation and Electrical Technician plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient plant operations. In this position, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical and instrumentation systems that support the manufacturing of Acrylic Resins. Your day-to-day responsibilities include working on electrical equipment up to 480 volts – such as motors, drives, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, and control panels – while also performing calibration, loop checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance on key process instrumentation such as RTDs, pressure, level, and pH devices. You will diagnose system faults, support reliability and root-cause investigations, and ensure all maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs are accurately documented within the CMMS. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper lockout/tagout procedures, PPE use, and compliance with all site safety, quality, and internal control standards. The position also participates in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours equipment issues and support rapid restoration of plant operations.

About You
You are a skilled I/E Technician with extensive hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing setting and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and reliability. You bring an associate degree or technical certification in instrumentation and electrical technology, as well as 5+ years of experience working with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. You can confidently read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals, and you have practical experience working with DCS/PLC systems. You are proficient with Microsoft applications and comfortable using a CMMS to document work orders, calibrations, and equipment repairs. You are someone who takes personal ownership of your work, collaborates well with other crafts, communicates respectfully, and stays organized even when priorities shift. Above all, you approach every task with a strong safety mindset, a willingness to support your team, and a focus on keeping operations reliable and running smoothly.
