Location: Stavanger, Norway

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Flex-lay installation analysis (flexible flowlines, risers, umbilicals, cables, and mooring lines)
  • Installation analysis of subsea structures and spools
  • Input into the design of subsea structures (installation and in-place)
  • Contributing to projects from early-phase studies through detailed engineering and execution follow-up, including opportunities for offshore work during operations
  • Collaborating across disciplines to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative solutions
 

About You

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (marine/offshore/ocean technology)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in simulation of marine operations / installation analysis
  • Familiarity with software such as OrcaFlex, SIMO/SIMA, HydroD, and ANSYS CFD (an advantage)
  • Programming skills (Python)
  • Understanding of applicable design codes, industry standards, and legislative requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative mindset – able to develop new methods and approaches
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills
  • Client-focused approach with “fit-for-purpose” solutions
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
