HSSE Trainer

Our client is a U.S.-based LNG provider supporting global energy needs through large-scale export operations. The company uses proven technologies and an innovative modular design to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective LNG production.

This is a contract position located in Cameron, LA. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver HSE training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify training needs through risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Update training materials in line with legal and procedural changes.
• Support HSE awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.
• Deliver HSSE Orientation: Conduct engaging and informative project-specific HSSE induction sessions for all incoming personnel.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure training content meets local regulatory requirements, client specifications, and company HSSE policies.
• Emergency Preparedness: Communicate site-specific emergency response procedures during orientation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HSSE team, project managers, and contractors to ensure alignment on safety objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Certified HSE Trainer or equivalent (OSHA preferred).
• Experience in HSE training or a similar role.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with local HSE regulations and industry best practices.
