About the Role
The FPSO Deputy / HU Manager supports the FPSO Package Manager in the execution of FPSO-related activities from project execution through hook-up, commissioning, and start-up. The role ensures that construction, integration, and commissioning activities are delivered safely, in line with contractual requirements, and within agreed schedule and budget. You will coordinate hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for FPSO topsides and subsea systems, manage interfaces with contractors and other project packages, and act as the Company’s technical representative towards the FPSO contractor. The position also supports the transition from project execution to operations, ensuring operational readiness and smooth handover.
About You
You have extensive experience in offshore oil and gas projects, with a strong background in FPSO developments and direct involvement in hook-up and commissioning activities. You are experienced in managing contractors within EPC or EPSCC environments and are confident working across multi-discipline teams in complex project settings. You bring a structured, proactive, and safety-focused approach, strong communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work autonomously. An engineering degree in mechanical, petroleum, or a similar discipline is preferred. Fluency in English is required, with French considered an advantage.
