Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer SEIT to support Completion and Commissioning activities for a major offshore project. The role will be responsible for defining commissioning scope, preparing commissioning documentation, and supporting execution activities in close collaboration with offshore teams and vendors.
The ideal candidate has strong experience from Oil & Gas modification and maintenance projects, combined with solid technical competence within electrical, instrumentation, and automation disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

  • Define boundary drawings for commissioning activities
  • Prepare and develop commissioning procedures
  • Define commissioning scope in PCS
  • Create job cards and handover dossiers
  • Provide input to FAT procedures and participate in FAT activities at vendor locations
  • Participate in meetings with offshore teams when required
  • Update and provide input to project plans and schedules
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient work processes

Required Qualifications

  • Skilled Worker Certificate (Fagbrev) or Bachelor’s degree within a relevant technical discipline
  • Background within Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering
  • Solid competence in:
    • SCD
    • C&E
    • Block hierarchy
  • Experience with MC & Commissioning from M&M and MOD projects
  • Offshore certificate
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Experience

  • Offshore project experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary commissioning environments
  • Familiarity with project execution and commissioning systems within the Oil & Gas industry
