PROJECT

LNG Louisiana

A leading global energy company developing three large-scale LNG liquefaction facilities in Louisiana, USA.

The Client

A leading global energy company developing three large-scale LNG liquefaction facilities in Louisiana, USA including Plaquemines LNG and two Cameron Parish sites. These multi-billion-dollar projects are key to supporting international LNG exports and global energy supply.

Problem / Goal

The client required experienced engineering and project management professionals to support multiple LNG export facilities at different project stages, including greenfield developments in hurricane-prone areas. These were specialist skills and suitable candidates were in short supply. Despite receiving good profiles, placements weren’t meeting the volume or quality they required.

Service / Solution Provided by Applica

Applica assessed their recruitment process and identified that the timeframe from initial candidate engagement to making an offer was too long. Candidates went through multiple stages with different individuals, and there were prolonged delays between each stage. By the time candidates reached offer stage, they had often disengaged or accepted an alternative opportunity.

Applica worked with the Client to streamline and optimise the recruitment process, ensuring the candidate experience was positive, professional and reflective of the client culture.

Results

  • Placements increased by 42%.
  • Candidate submission to offer acceptance ratios improved by 61%.
  • Helped maintain schedule integrity through experienced engineering and project management hires.
  • Applica awarded an MSA across all permanent and contract recruitment

Conclusion

By combining technical expertise with long-term client collaboration, Applica helped improve their entire recruitment process and played an essential role in supporting one of the largest LNG developments in North America with tangible links to the UK’s Grain LNG network.
