About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Development of pipeline de-commissioning, pre-commissioning and commissioning (RFO) concepts and solutions; preparation of documentation and procedures for such activities.
- Follow-up of sub-contractors and interface between business partners and client.
- Working in a project environment and participation on various onshore sites around the world can be required.
- Sporadic offshore work on vessels, as well as travel.
About You
You hold an engineering degree in Marine, Naval, Offshore, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, and have a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience. You bring hands-on experience from the pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and subsea systems, with a solid understanding of control systems and the testing and monitoring requirements for cables and umbilicals.
You have general knowledge of pipeline pig design and functionality and a good understanding of applicable codes and standards related to pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
You are comfortable working within time and budget constraints and proactively communicate any potential impacts on project progress or cost. You communicate effectively with colleagues across departments, as well as with clients and suppliers. You are a creative problem solver, capable of suggesting and developing new methods and improved ways of working
