EIT Field Engineer

About the Company
We are representing a leading energy client on a major long-term project in Norway. The client is looking for an experienced EIT Field Engineer to support the execution and installation phase of the project.

About the Role
• Support production teams with technical issues that arise during construction and installation activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings and job documentation, providing technical support to the construction team.
• Prepare work documentation and technical solutions in collaboration with shop engineering.
• Check that equipment locations and installations are practical, construction-friendly and compliant with HSSE requirements.
• Work closely with the Work Leader (FIL), Method, Shop Engineering and PRE teams.
• Coordinate closely with production throughout the project.
• Interface with multiple disciplines, including EIT, piping, structural, civil and HVAC, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the preparation and updating of as-built drawings and mechanical interface drawings.
• Maintain good HSSE performance throughout all activities.
• Interface with IT/IS teams regarding engineering registers and MIPS.

About You
• Bachelor's degree with approximately 3 years' E&I experience.
• Relevant field/construction experience.
• Strong understanding of as-built drawings and mechanical interface drawings.
• Good general computer skills.
• Experience working in a field/construction environment.
• Experience with MIPS and E3D is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Able to work effectively with multiple disciplines, contractors and production teams.
• Relevant work experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
