Contract Duration: 01 July 2026 – 30 June 2027
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer – Process. The successful candidate will play a key role during the engineering and commissioning phases, ensuring safe and efficient preparation, execution, and completion of commissioning activities related to Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare commissioning procedures during the engineering phase.
- Coordinate and collaborate with discipline engineers, equipment suppliers, and the client's operations personnel.
- Ensure commissioning procedures and activities comply with project requirements, standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support planning and execution of commissioning activities for SAS-related systems.
- Contribute to safe, systematic, and efficient commissioning and handover processes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary reviews and commissioning meetings.
- Follow up completion and commissioning documentation in relevant project systems.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science.
- Alternatively, technical education combined with extensive practical experience in commissioning and completion.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience within commissioning and completion activities.
- Proven commissioning experience from industrial, offshore, energy, or process industry projects.
- Strong understanding of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
- Good knowledge of instrumentation, safety systems, and automation systems.

- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Software Competence
- Experience with DCP
- Experience with ProCoSys
Language Requirements
- Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
