About the Role
We are looking for a Field Supervisor to support the daily operations of wind farm service activities. Working closely with the Service Area Supervisor and Team Leads, you will oversee maintenance activities, provide technical guidance, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Service Area Supervisor and acting as Supervisor when required.
  • Supervising field technicians to ensure maintenance and repair work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and supporting major repairs, retrofits, and specialist maintenance activities.
  • Coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to maximise turbine performance.
  • Monitoring technician performance, workload planning, and operational costs.
  • Collaborating with Technical Support, Safety, HR, and other internal departments.
  • Preparing operational and safety briefings and reporting on maintenance performance.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians to support their professional growth.

About You
We're looking to speak with candidates who have:

  • A Technical Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years' experience working within Vestas operations or a similar wind energy environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Experience supervising maintenance teams or leading field service activities.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience using SAP and other maintenance management systems.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
