About the role
We’re supporting a large, highly regulated industrial environment seeking a Controls Engineer to assist with data validation and quality assurance across Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and control systems.

This role is heavily focused on data integrity, documentation validation, and ensuring alignment across multiple technical sources, particularly within Digital Cause & Effect (DiCE) frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Support automated DiCE metrics table population using established templates and validation rules
Clean, organize, and transform large datasets to ensure accurate reporting
Perform cross-system consistency checks and track validation progress against milestones
Execute detailed tag-by-tag comparisons across C&E documentation and reference sources (instrument lists, I/O lists, logic narratives)
Identify and document discrepancies including missing tags, mismatches, and duplicates
Validate SIS and control system tags for completeness and accuracy
Log findings clearly and escalate unresolved issues with supporting documentation
