Contract:12 months to Permanent Role 

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly respected senior offshore asset integrity and modernization leader to help build and expand a technical consulting and project delivery practice across the U.S. Gulf Coast and broader offshore market.

This is a seller-doer leadership role suited to someone with deep credibility in offshore integrity management, brownfield upgrades, automation, process control modernization, and lifecycle extension strategies.

The successful individual will bring:

  • Immediate technical credibility with operators, EPCs, and offshore asset owners
  • Existing senior relationships across offshore operations, integrity, inspection, reliability, and project leadership teams
  • The ability to identify opportunities, define technical scopes, and convert market relationships into studies and execution work
  • Hands-on technical leadership capability to direct or personally contribute to assessments, studies, modernization programs, and integrity improvement initiatives
  • The network and leadership presence to attract additional delivery talent and build a high-performing practice team

This is a market-facing strategic growth role with real autonomy to shape service lines, client relationships, and delivery capability.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Growth

  • Leverage established offshore industry relationships to originate new business opportunities in:
    • Asset integrity management
    • Brownfield lifecycle extension
    • Offshore automation upgrades
    • Control systems modernization
    • Reliability and obsolescence mitigation
    • Safety system upgrades
    • Digitalization and remote monitoring
  • Build trusted relationships with offshore superintendents, operations leaders, maintenance managers, integrity managers, and project sponsors
  • Develop technical value propositions aligned to offshore production reliability, safety, and life extension objectives
  • Convert early-stage discussions into scoped studies, FEED work, assessments, and execution programs
  • Represent the business as a recognized subject matter authority in client meetings and industry forums

Technical Leadership

  • Lead or oversee:
    • Integrity assessments
    • Remaining life studies
    • SIL / SIS upgrade strategies
    • Control system migrations
    • Instrumentation modernization
    • Brownfield automation upgrades
    • Process control performance improvement
    • Shutdown / turnaround integrity scopes
    • Offshore electrical, controls, and instrumentation obsolescence reviews
  • Define fit-for-purpose methodologies for inspection, maintenance, modernization, and reliability improvement
  • Support development of technical standards, work processes, and offshore service offerings
  • Provide executive-level technical assurance on client studies and upgrade strategies

Practice Building

  • Help establish a scalable offshore asset integrity and modernization capability in the U.S.
  • Recruit, mentor, and deploy supporting “do-er” engineers and specialist consultants
  • Build a trusted network of contract and permanent SMEs across offshore inspection, controls, reliability, and process automation
  • Support proposal strategy, pricing, and technical bid content
  • Create repeatable service offerings around offshore brownfield and integrity consulting

Required Experience

  • 15+ years in offshore asset integrity, automation, controls, process systems, or brownfield modernization
  • Strong background in offshore production facilities, platforms, subsea topsides interfaces, FPSOs, or fixed assets
  • Demonstrated success leading integrity management and modernization studies
  • Strong technical foundation in:
    • DCS / PLC / SCADA
    • Process control systems
    • Safety systems / SIS / ESD
    • Instrumentation and control upgrades
    • Brownfield electrical and automation systems
  • Existing senior relationships across Gulf of American operators, EPCs, service companies, and offshore operations teams
  • Proven ability to generate work through reputation and trusted relationships
  • Experience building and leading technical teams or specialist delivery pods
  • Strong commercial instinct with the ability to move from opportunity identification to scoped delivery
