About the Role
The Quality Lead is responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring the project's quality management system to ensure that all project activities meet contract requirements, applicable standards, regulations and internal policies. The role supports the project organization in delivering the right quality from the start by ensuring quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. The Quality Lead reports to the HSSEQ Manager and works in close collaboration with, coordinates and supports the Quality Discipline Leads.

Main responsibilities
• Develop and implement a Project Quality Management Plan , in accordance with company guidelines and international standards, and define clear and concrete quality requirements for Work Package Owners (WP) and Project Managers (PM)
• Follow up and verify that the project's processes and quality routines are implemented and complied with
• Plan, coordinate and follow up on inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), audits and other testing activities to ensure that quality requirements are met
• Coordinate and support Quality Discipline Leads to ensure effective quality assurance and quality control across the entire BECCS project
• Collaborate with WP Execution Managers, construction and engineering teams to quickly address quality issues and provide expert support
• Work closely with contractors to ensure their QA/QC work meets project requirements, including reviewing deliverables and following up on compliance
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and relevant authorities to ensure external quality controls are conducted and documented correctly
• Report regularly to HSSEQ Manager via Quality Performance Dashboard, including nonconformities (NCR), actions and status
• Ensure that all quality-related documentation is maintained, such as audit programs, audit plans, reports, inspection protocols, ITPs and NCRs
• Follow up on quality deviations, conduct root cause analyses and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented and documented
• Conduct audits of projects and suppliers and produce detailed reports
• Identify quality risks and develop strategies to minimize the impact on schedule and project results
• Drive continuous improvements to quality processes and implement best practices

About You
You are an experienced quality professional with at least 10 years of experience in quality management within large industrial, construction, or engineering projects. Exposure to the energy, oil & gas, or process industries is highly advantageous, along with experience acting as an Audit Lead within complex organisations or major projects. You bring strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple Quality Leads across different disciplines. Your excellent communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You have a deep understanding of quality principles, methodologies, and best practices, supported by solid knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and project specifications. Your experience includes inspection, audit, and testing processes, with a proven ability to identify deviations and drive corrective actions. Highly analytical and structured in your approach, you are a proactive problem solver with strong organisational and decision-making skills. You thrive in fast-paced, complex environments and maintain a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. You are also experienced in monitoring and reporting quality-related KPIs, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
