Duration: 12 month renewable
About the Role:
As Discipline Lead Electrical, you are responsible for, among other things:

- Lead and coordinate all parts of the electric power in the project
- Ensure that electrical power deliveries meet technical requirements, quality standards and project specifications
- Lead technical investigations within electric power in collaboration with internal functions, design teams and contractors
- Participate in technical design of:
- BioCCS plant electrical power system (EIC – Electrical, Instrument & Control)
- Low-voltage switchgear (MCC) with associated starting and drive equipment (Simocode, AUMATIC, VFD, etc.)
- Distributed power distribution boards
- Coordinate interfaces between electrical power and automation systems for control and monitoring
- Plan, review and approve drawings within electric power as well as follow up on progress and ensure that comments from the client organization are coordinated and handled by contractors
- Participate in and lead supplier meetings with EPC and EP suppliers
- Identify, analyze and manage risks within electric power and develop and implement action plans
- Manage interfaces with other disciplines, functions and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery
- Report to Engineering Lead regarding status, risks, technical issues and progress
- Provide technical leadership and support to the electrical power team, including resource allocation between work packages
- Ensure that input from HSE, operations and other functions is integrated to achieve optimal technical solutions and the overall project goals
About YOU:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Solid experience in electrical engineering, preferably from large-scale projects in the energy, process, oil or gas industries
- Strong technical expertise with the ability to provide technical guidance and overall control
- Ability to manage risks and conduct technical investigations in parallel with project planning and budgeting
Very good knowledge in:
- Design of emergency power systems, including diesel generators (EDG)
- UPS systems, e.g. 110 V DC, including control of protection functions
- Low-voltage switchgear (MCC), starting and drive equipment (Simocode, AUMATIC, VFD)
- Distributed power distribution boards
Basic knowledge in:
- Cable routing, assembly and cable ladder systems
- Experience with or good understanding of plant documentation (advantageous)
- Experience in leading technical reviews of design and relationship documents
- Good ability to express yourself in English, both spoken and written.
- Very good communication and collaboration skills
